Well this was just a regular club race and with school starting and last weekend of summer Battleground Speedway had 36 car on top for racing action.
Open Sprintcar- Had 4 cars show up to tackle the oval After 2 heat races Jack Grey won tq with a 38 4.04 . However Jerrod The Dude Crumrine took the win over Terry Downing 2nd Jack Grey 3rd he had lil trouble but was closing and ran out of time and Robbie Russel 4th .
Rookie Electric- Also Had 4 cars on tap to race with Joseph Smiley Bowers taking tq with a 29 4.04 and in the a Main i believe this was his first of the year and looked very smooth good job it was Joseph again with the win with 30 laps bettering his tq run with Hunter Goodman 2nd, Debra Lammers 3rd, George The Jet Lammers 4th .
Open Latemodel- Only Had two Cars with Terry Downing winning tq and the amain with Mike Foltz 2nd
!3.5 Sprint- Had 5 cars on hand with Jack Grey taking Tq with 37 4.03 and also taking the win with 37 4.01 bettering his tq by slim of margins 2nd was Terry Downing, 3rd was Mike Foltz, 4th was Patrick Mr. Slick Mendenhall, and Robbie Russell 5th
electric edm- this ever exciting class had 7 cars on hand it was very much exciting. Brian The Gasman Hughes took the tq with 35 4.03 but the Gasman couldnt get it done with Mr. Slick Patrick Mendenhall took the win with a 36 4.03 and thats his 2nd in a row he building momenteum with Brian Hughes 2nd, Jeff Hogan 3rd, Chris Atchison 4th, Noah Hogan 5th, James Jenkins 6th, and Robbie Russell 7th DNS .
Electric 1/8- 7 cars showed up the tackle the fast track. Jerrod The Dude Crumrine won tq with a 39 4.03 and also took the win that two in a row looks like he had found something, Jeremie The Badboy Hinds 2nd, Patrick Mr. Slick Mendenhall 3rd, Mike Foltz 4th, Gary The Hitman Vogel 5th , Robbie Russell 6th, Jeff Goodman 7th
Dominator- Jack Grey won tq and the Win over the 7 car field he was quick all night with that Murfdogg 13.5 motor looked very smooth and fast 2nd was Brian Hughes, 3rd Chris Atchison, 4th Rd Russell, James Jenkins 5th, Terry Downing 6th dnf and Mike Foltz dnf . This class was quick and loved the awesome track
Wishing we had more cars but it was a very relaxed night and great way to test new setups and play lil bit after the races to tune your cars. Hoping for a great turnout on the 25th and it is a points night for the race for the Championship. We will see the outlaws Swing back in for this night to get them points for the Champion Jacket.
